Do you build new websites or only redesign existing ones?+
Both. I build new websites from scratch and redesign existing ones. Whether you have an outdated WordPress or Wix site, or you need something built from the ground up, the process is the same — a focused, well-built website designed around your business.
Is LDP Web Studio currently taking clients?+
Yes. I'm currently taking on a limited number of website builds, redesigns, and free reviews. If the project is a good fit, I'll clearly outline the scope, timeline, and pricing before anything starts.
Is LDP Web Studio a new business?+
Yes. LDP Web Studio is a new independent web studio. I'm taking on early projects and giving each one direct, focused attention. Being new means I'm invested in doing the work properly from the start.
What is required before a project starts?+
To kick off, I need a clear understanding of your business, the goals for the website, and any existing content or assets you have. A 50% deposit is required before work begins. I'll confirm everything in writing before we start.
How do payments work?+
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due before the site goes live. For the Care Plan, billing is monthly after launch.
How many revisions are included?+
Every project includes focused revision rounds as part of the scope. The exact number is confirmed in the proposal. Revisions cover feedback on the design and content — not scope changes or new features added mid-project.
How long does a website take?+
A Starter Site typically takes 2–3 weeks after content is received. A Premium Website typically takes 3–5 weeks. Both timelines depend on how quickly we can review content, share feedback, and confirm decisions together.
Do I need to provide all copy and photos?+
No. I'll work with what you have and help organize and clean up your content. If professional photography would make a meaningful difference, I'll mention it. You don't need everything finalized before we start.
Are domain and third-party fees included?+
No. Domain registration, paid third-party software, premium assets, hosting upgrades, and external service fees are billed separately when required. I'll flag any expected third-party costs upfront.
Will I own the website?+
Yes — fully, once final payment is made. Code, design files, domain, and hosting are yours. Nothing is locked behind a proprietary platform. Note that individual third-party tools, licences, platforms, or services may have their own terms.
What is included in the Care Plan?+
The Care Plan covers up to 1 hour of small updates per month, technical maintenance and monitoring, dependency and security updates, basic performance checks, and priority email support. It runs month-to-month after launch. Additional work beyond the included hour is quoted separately.
What happens after launch?+
I handle the go-live process including domain connection, analytics setup, and a post-launch check. After that, you can continue with the monthly Care Plan for ongoing updates, or manage the site yourself. I provide clear handoff notes either way.
Do you only work with businesses in Metro Vancouver?+
No. I'm based in Metro Vancouver, but I work remotely and take on projects from anywhere.
